BRAND STORYTELLER:
The brand Maidenform was founded in 1922 in New Jersey, when founders Ida Rosenthal and Enid Bissett created an incredible bra design that would serve as the basis for all their work, and then decided to invest in the underwear industry. They rebelled against the flat-chested styles of the time and instead produced both dresses and shapewear that accentuated a woman's natural shape, hence the brand's name.
