WASHING SYMBOLS
- General washing. It states that the item can be machine washed.
- Do not wash with water
- Hand wash
- Wash at 30°
- Delicate cycle. Wash on a delicate cycle and with a suitable detergent (30°C). Select a gentle spin cycle. Also suitable for short washes of synthetic fabrics.
- Delicate cycle (with the temperature indicated inside) at low temperature with a low intensity spin or even better, without.
Always check the temperature indicated together with the symbol.
Note that often, instead of numbers, there may be dots to indicate the correct temperature. This often happens with American-made garments, for example.
- 1 dot wash cold (30°)
- 2 dots wash at medium temperature (40°)
- 3 dots wash at high temperatures (max 50°)
- 4 dots wash at high temperatures (max 60°)
- 5 dots wash at high temperatures (max 70°)
- 6 dots wash at high temperatures (max 95°)
HAND WASH SYMBOLS
- Wash cold
- Do not hand wash
- Do not squeeze
If the knot is without an X, you can wring the end.
